The list of additional examination subjects chosen by higher education institutions for the 2020 Unified National Examinations is now known

The primary list of additional subjects that entrants must take in case of wishing to enroll in a specific program has been published.
The list can be viewed on the official website of the National Assessment and Examinations Center: www.naec.ge
Higher education institutions have the opportunity to make changes to the mentioned list until the end of December.
We would like to remind you that within the framework of the comprehensive education reform, in 2020, entrants will take the Unified National Examinations based on a new model.
The examinations will be held in three mandatory subjects:
- Georgian Language and Literature;
- Foreign Language;
- Mathematics/History.
Taking into account the initiative of medical educational institutions, there will be four mandatory examinations for healthcare educational programs:
- Georgian Language and Literature;
- Foreign Language;
- Biology;
- Mathematics/Chemistry/Physics (the entrant chooses at least one). Quota places will be allocated for the fourth subject, no less than 30% for each subject.
As for artistic-creative/sports educational programs, in order to enroll in them, it is mandatory for the entrant to pass the Georgian Language and Literature and Foreign Language exams along with the creative tour.
The enrollment of entrants in the Georgian Language Preparation Educational Program will continue in the existing format.
The grant will be issued based on the results of three subjects. However, if the higher education institution also requires taking a fourth subject, the entrant is given another opportunity to obtain funding.
With the aim of informing entrants, the National Assessment and Examinations Center is launching informative meetings. The Open Doors Day will be held on September 17, at 16:00, at the National Assessment and Examinations Center.
