Microsoft's artificial intelligence has been opened for the Georgian language

"Microsoft's artificial intelligence has been opened for the Georgian language. It already contains one million Georgian sentences, which need the same kind of growth as our students do," โ stated Mikheil Batiashvili, Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia, today during the presentation of the one-year summary report of the comprehensive educational reform.
Kalin Dimtchev, Regional Director and General Manager of Microsoft, positively evaluated the education reform in the field of technology and noted that the government has an ambitious and progressive plan on how to respond to digital challenges in the modern era.
"I have heard about such a scale of reforms in only a few countries. The presentation showed that the Ministry is already working on how to introduce digital technologies into the learning process and understands what impact it will have on the quality of teaching. We live in a digital world. The education system must adequately respond to these challenges. This will be a step forward in the future and a prerequisite for the success of every student and educator.
We have Microsoft and we have repeatedly proven its importance in the teaching process. We have thousands of users and their number is growing daily. The Georgian language has already been integrated into artificial intelligence. Cooperation with Georgia in the field of modern technologies will be very fruitful, as we have vast experience," โ said Kalin Dimtchev during his speech.
