Batumi hosted the Science and Innovation Festival

The "Science and Innovation Festival - 2019" continues. Within the framework of the festival, the most unusual science picnic, following Telavi and Kutaisi, was held in Batumi.

Along with Batumi Shota Rustaveli State University, almost all leading state higher education institutions of Georgia, various scientific-research institutes, and organizations participated in the picnic, presenting a "science show" and various exhibitions. The spectacle was tailored to the interests of visitors of all ages. At the picnic, guests saw numerous interesting scientific experiments, inventions, entertaining quizzes, and psychological experiments; there were presentations, performances, entertaining experiments in chemistry, physics, biology, etc. Teenagers had the opportunity to conduct such experiments themselves and make many previously unexplained phenomena visual and clear to them.

Within the framework of the event, organized by the Batumi State Maritime Academy, the 26th International Conference of the International Maritime Lecturers Association (IMLA) and several scientific events were also held.
