An agro-college of regional significance will be built in Dmanisi

In Dmanisi, in the village of Sarkineti, the Georgian-Swiss Agricultural Vocational College "Georgian-Swiss Agricultural School Caucasus" will be opened.

The Swiss-standard college will train specialists in the fields of livestock farming, milk and cheese processing. Along with theoretical instruction, acquiring practical experience is also planned, for which a livestock farm and a Swiss-standard cheese factory will be built on the college grounds.

The main partner of the project is Switzerland's most successful agricultural school, "Plantahof". The "Plantahof" school will ensure the development of educational programs, selection of materials, planning of educational practices, and training of teachers.

The project to establish the vocational college is implemented with the financial support of private entities and the Swiss foundation Swiss South Caucasus Foundation (SSFC). This foundation has been active in the fields of science and education for 20 years.
