Working meetings with the population of the regions continue

Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport Irina Abuladze, together with representatives of the executive and legislative branches, met with the population of the villages of Kareli Municipality - Abisi, Knolevi, Avlevi and Tseronisi.

Working meetings in the regions are held at the initiative of the Government, and their purpose is to acquaint the population with ongoing and planned projects, as well as to receive information from them about existing local problems. As a result, all areas of the country's budget for 2020 will be planned taking into account the interests and needs of the population.

During the meetings, Irina Abuladze spoke at length about the important changes implemented in the system and expected new developments. At the end, she answered questions from teachers and parents.

36 schools operate in Kareli Municipality. Over the past three years, modern-standard schools have been built in the villages of Atotsi and Samtsevrisi; full rehabilitation has been carried out in the schools of the villages of Bebnisi, Sagholashni, Kekhijvari, Satsikhuri, Kvemo Khvedureti and Khevis; central heating has been installed in nine village schools; restrooms have been upgraded in seven schools; the roofs of several schools have been replaced, and sports grounds have been arranged. The educational process in schools is conducted by qualified teachers who are involved in various projects and trainings.
