Registration for vocational educational programs begins

The Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia announces the registration of those wishing to acquire vocational education, from October 2 to October 15 inclusive.
All interested persons in all regions of Georgia have the opportunity to master their desired profession with full state funding in the fields of tourism, construction, agriculture, transport, information technology, and others.
Registration can be completed with an ID card at educational resource centers across Georgia and institutions implementing vocational educational programs.
Applicants also have the opportunity to use the electronic (online) registration mode via the website www.vet.emis.ge.
We would like to remind you that registration is possible for several programs within the framework of a single test type!
Following the test results, applicants will have the opportunity to review the choices they made during registration and, within the framework of the passed test, modify the list of desired programs taking into account their scores and statistical data from previous years.
Information regarding vocational testing, as well as sample tests, is posted on the website of the LEPL National Assessment and Examinations Center www.naec.ge.
Persons with special educational needs register on the basis of the aforementioned procedure, but they benefit from alternative vocational testing.
Georgian citizens representing ethnic minorities who were unable to acquire vocational education due to a language barrier will have the opportunity to take the test in Russian, Armenian, or Azerbaijani. To teach them the Georgian language at an appropriate level, a Georgian language module is integrated into the vocational programs.
The number of programs implemented using the work-based learning approach is increasing in the fields of agriculture, tourism, railway transport, and information technology. More than 50 private companies are involved in the process.
This year for the first time, in order to increase accessibility to vocational education, applicants will be given the opportunity to enroll in dual programs without vocational testing, solely on the basis of a successfully passed interview with a partner private company.
The Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia wishes you success!
