Members of the Authorization Council of Vocational Educational Institutions are getting acquainted with the new authorization standard

Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport Tamar Kitiashvili participated in the seminar of the Authorization Council for Vocational Educational Institutions.
"Recently, new authorization standards for vocational educational institutions were approved, which means we have new challenges regarding quality. It is very important that the Authorization Council, as an impartial and independent body, has a clear understanding of the new framework and approaches for quality assurance in vocational education. This is precisely the purpose of the seminar organized by the National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement, which was planned with the support of the United Nations Development Programme. Both educational institutions and members of the Authorization Council, partner organizations and the Ministry expect that the introduction of new authorization standards will significantly increase the quality of vocational education and its relevance to the labor market," Tamar Kitiashvili noted during her participation in the seminar.
The Authorization Council is a collegiate body established by the order of the Prime Minister, which makes decisions regarding the authorization of educational institutions. It is staffed by representatives of the private sector, local and international organizations operating in the field of vocational education, and business associations.
