The first stage of the competition for public school director candidates begins

Within the framework of the education reform, the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia is launching the first stage of the competition for those wishing to become public school principals. Following the completion of registration, the date, location, time, and duration of the testing for public school principal candidates have now been determined.
Electronic testing will be held on March 6 and 7 in 4 sessions (2 sessions per day). The first session will begin at 09:00, and the second at 16:00, with a duration of 4 hours. As for candidates for principal positions with visual impairments, they will be granted an additional 30 minutes.
It should be noted that applicants must complete registration one hour prior to the testing. In the event of tardiness, or failure to present an ID card or a unique identification code, the person will not be admitted to the testing.
In order to accommodate their needs, principal candidates with disabilities must apply with a statement to the LEPL Education Management Information System from February 27 to March 3 so that appropriate measures can be taken.
In Tbilisi, the testing will be held at the Georgian Technical University and the Academy of Information Technology, while in the Adjara region, it will take place at the “Akhali Talgha” (New Wave) college.
For additional information, principal candidates have the opportunity to obtain information via the hotline at 2 200 220 (extension 6).

In the process of selecting principal candidates, the Ministry's objective is to organize the competition in a transparent, qualified, and impartial manner, as well as to attract highly qualified and worthy personnel under conditions of healthy competition as a result of certification.
