Nunu Mitskevich opened the 10th International Exhibition of Higher and Vocational Education
Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia Nunu Mitskevich took part in the opening ceremony of the 10th International Higher and Vocational Education Exhibition and addressed the gathered public.
Nunu Mitskevich: “Today the Ministry is hosting a very important event, which is being held for the tenth time this year. The International Education Exhibition gives pupils, entrants, and those interested in studying in general an opportunity to get acquainted with the programs of higher and vocational educational institutions in a single space. I would like to note that this year Kutaisi International University has joined the exhibition, offering new opportunities to both Georgian and international students.
I would like to particularly highlight the international programs, the number of which is growing day by day in our educational space. The Ministry is making every effort to increase the quality of education and bring it closer to international standards.“
The 10th International Higher and Vocational Education Exhibition, featuring up to 70 international and local universities and vocational schools, is being held at Expo Georgia on February 28-29. Visitors to the exhibition have the opportunity to receive information about bachelor's, master's, and doctoral programs, as well as scholarship and exchange programs, language courses, and local and international centers. Alongside Georgian educational institutions, schools from Germany, France, Hungary, and other European countries are participating in the exhibition.
It is noteworthy that Kutaisi International University is participating in the 10th International Higher and Vocational Education Exhibition for the first time. For two days, visitors to the exhibition will have the opportunity to receive detailed information about the Kutaisi university campus and the university's academic programs, engage in various activities and events, and pre-register for their preferred programs at the university.
Within the framework of the 10th International Higher and Vocational Education Exhibition, numerous educational events are planned: an employment forum “EXPO JOB” will be held, where more than 70 companies will present over 700 vacancies for students and graduates; representatives of the National Assessment and Examinations Center will hold a presentation about the examinations and answer all questions asked; furthermore, an event will be organized aimed at helping entrants and students choose their future profession, among others.
