Mikheil Chkhenkeli participated in the 10th International Exhibition of Higher and Vocational Education

Mikheil Chkhenkeli, Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia, visited the 10th International Exhibition of Higher and Vocational Education, personally acquainting himself with the programs and activities presented by educational institutions.
It is noteworthy that Kutaisi International University is participating in the exhibition for the first time this year. Over the course of two days, visitors will have the opportunity to receive detailed information about the Kutaisi University City and the university's academic programs, engage in various activities and events, as well as pre-register for their preferred programs at the university. Mikheil Chkhenkeli also viewed the Kutaisi International University stand and once again emphasized the importance of this university.
Mikheil Chkhenkeli: “I would like to congratulate the public on the fact that starting from the new academic year, Kutaisi International University will admit its first cohort of students. This university will be a unique, genuinely European educational hub in the region that meets world standards.
A university of this scale could not have been established in Georgia were it not for the highly significant philanthropic contribution made by Mr. Bidzina Ivanishvili and his family to this historic project. As you know, the Cartu Foundation has invested 1 billion euros in charity for this project.
I would like to particularly highlight the fact that the academic programs of Kutaisi International University have been developed in cooperation with one of the world's leading universities, the Technical University of Munich. Alongside Georgian professors, prominent professors from the world's leading universities will deliver lectures at Kutaisi International University.
It is also important that a hadron therapy center will operate on the basis of the university, which is likewise fully funded by the Cartu Foundation. Cancer treatment and scientific research processes will be conducted here in the fields of medicine, medical physics, and nuclear physics.
Kutaisi International University and the Hadron Therapy Center already have many renowned international partners in the form of leading universities and various global scientific research centers.”
The 10th International Exhibition of Higher and Vocational Education, featuring up to 70 international and local universities and vocational schools, is being held at Expo Georgia on February 28–29. Visitors to the exhibition have the opportunity to obtain information on bachelor's, master's, and doctoral programs, as well as scholarship and exchange programs, language courses, and local and international centers.
Alongside Georgian educational institutions, educational establishments from Germany, France, Hungary, and other European countries are participating in the exhibition.
