The educational process in the schools of Tbilisi, Rustavi, Kutaisi, Zugdidi, Telavi, Zestaponi, Gori, Gardabani, Poti, and Marnueli will be conducted in a remote format until the end of the first semester of the 2020-2021 academic year.
In order to manage the epidemiological situation in the country and reduce mobility in major cities, the Interagency Coordination Council has made a decision that in the following cities of Georgia: Tbilisi, Rustavi, Kutaisi, Zugdidi, Telavi, Zestaponi, Gori, Gardabani, Poti, and Marneuli, the first semester of the 2020-2021 academic year for students of all grades, in both public and private schools, shall be concluded in a remote learning format.
General education institutions operating within the territory of the Autonomous Republic of Adjara shall continue the educational process in a remote format.
