This year, Georgia is joining the European Researchers' Night for the first time with the project "Science is Captain". 30 EU and Horizon 2020 associated countries are taking part in it. On November 27-28, 2020, the main events of the project "Science is Captain" – large-scale, multidisciplinary, educational, entertaining, cultural, and sports activities – will be held remotely in Tbilisi, Telavi, Kutaisi, Batumi, Akhaltsikhe, and Zugdidi. "Science is Captain" serves to showcase science as a part of the daily life of all segments of society and to popularize science among the general public of Georgia.
