The Council of Europe has published a manifesto on the "Freedom of Artistic and Cultural Expression in the Digital Age"

The Steering Committee for Culture, Heritage and Landscape of the Council of Europe has published a Manifesto on the "Freedom of Expression of Arts and Culture in the Digital Era".
The Manifesto reflects the importance of artistic creation and the cultural industry for democratic societies, as well as the significance of protecting freedom of artistic expression, which is governed by Article 10 of the European Convention on Human Rights.
The Steering Committee for Culture, Heritage and Landscape of the Council of Europe has also published the concept of the digital exhibition "Create Freely, Create for Freedom".
The digital exhibition is planned for the first half of 2021 and will enable member states to present works of art that reflect the important role of artistic freedom in a democratic society.
