Singer and musician Giuli Darakhvelidze has passed away at the age of 88

The Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia expresses its deep sorrow over the death of the Georgian singer and musician, Giuli Darakhvelidze, and extends its condolences to her family, relatives, and colleagues.

During her student years, Giuli Darakhvelidze founded a guitar ensemble; she worked as a senior English language teacher at the Theatre and Film University; and she was a member of the trio "Samaia", alongside Inola Gurgulia and Medea Sikharulidze.
