With the support of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia, the Contemporary Art Archive has been updated and can be viewed at the following link: www.archive.propaganda.network
The Contemporary Art Archive is a bilingual multimedia online platform aimed at systemizing and making information on Georgian contemporary art heritage and ongoing processes accessible to the general public.
The project is a winner of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia competition - "Promotion of Contemporary Fine Arts in Tbilisi and the Regions". With the support of the Ministry, the archive has been updated with new profiles of 36 artists, and the existing profiles of artists in the archive have been supplemented. In the interactive field of the "Process", the list of events that contributed to the development of the Georgian contemporary art space and the creation of its heritage has been expanded, the number of contributors in the private archive section has increased, and the website's operating system has been improved.
The online platform is utilized by both individuals interested in the field – art professionals, including students – and the general public. Website visitors are registered from various parts of the world.
The project "Contemporary Art Archive" was initiated in 2013 with the support of the Zaza Daraseli Foundation. In 2018, the archive received support from LEPL "Creative Georgia". The group of archivists is working intensively on preparing content for the online platform and enriching it.
