Refurbishment of the School Labs Still Continues in the Scope of the Program “Einstein”

In order to advance the teaching level of the natural sciences and attract schoolchildren’s interest in the subject, the provision of schools with the labs continues. In the scope of the program “Einstein”, Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Georgia, Irine Kurdadze provided Tbilisi Public School №24 with the lab for natural sciences.

Strengthening of exact and natural science teaching is one of the priorities of MES and part of the strategic plan. In order to support the development of the technical fields, all Public Schools will be provided with the modern labs in physics, chemistry and biology step by step. The labs include 3 complete sets. Each of these sets unify 18 subsets, created according to the teaching topics of the concrete subject (chemistry, biology, physics).

Labs, equipped with the modern technologies will support the development of the research skills of the schoolchildren. All schoolchildren should be able to conduct research, register and analyze results and make appropriate conclusions.

“This new lab will help teachers to make natural sciences subjects more interesting for schoolchildren” said the teacher of Physics at Public School №24, Khatia Nadaria. Ms. Nadaria has just got back from Geneva, where she attended the training at European Organization of Atomic Research (CERN).

Teachers and the schoolchildren of all Public Schools will have opportunity to use virtual labs during the natural science classes from current academic year.
