Attention Citizens!
Regarding the applications submitted to the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia prior to September 6, 2011, concerning the transfer of a student from one general education institution to another and the enrollment in a general education institution (including first-graders), we would like to inform you that, in accordance with paragraphs one and two of Order No. 590 of the Minister of Education and Science of Georgia dated September 6, 2011, โOn determining the additional deadline for submitting documents necessary for enrolling a student in a school and on transferring a student from one general education institution to anotherโ:
- The additional deadline for submitting the documents necessary for enrolling a student in a school has been set as September 12, 2011, at the latest.
- Students who, due to objective reasons, were unable to move from one general education institution to another, are granted the right to transfer from one general education institution to another by September 12, 2011.
We would also like to inform you that the decision regarding the enrollment of a student in a general education institution is made by the school principal, within the limits of the available vacancies at the school.
