Minister’s visit to Tbilisi №202 School for Blind and Visually Impaired Children

Georgia Dimitri Shashkini visited Tbilisi №202 School for Blind and Visually
Impaired Children and congratulated the school students on the International
Day of Children. Minister brought some presents for them.
This year, the school has 7 twelfth graders. All of them passed the High School Leaving Exams successfully and plan to continue studying on bachelor degree courses. The tests of the examinations are printed with the Braille print.
During one of his previous visits to this school, Minister was informed by the school students that they wished to study on the English language courses in England. Upon their request, Ministry sent 7 twelfth graders to England.
Up to 50 schoolchildren study at Tbilisi №202 Boarding School for Blind and Visually Impaired Children, among them - 23 use boarding school service. By the decision of the Ministry, the school has been fully renovated according to the modern standards.
