Statement of the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia
Starting July 12, 2012, the issuance of plastic cards for participants of the "Summer Job" project begins at all branches of Bank of Georgia. Each participant will collect their card at the branch specified during registration.
Along with the plastic cards, program participants will receive complimentary caps and wristbands featuring the "Summer Job" logo. Additionally, participating students will receive informational cards regarding the launch of a photo contest.
In accordance with the memorandum concluded between the National Center for Educational Quality Enhancement of the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia and Bank of Georgia, Bank of Georgia has produced specially designed plastic cards for the students participating in the program.
Students will receive the plastic cards free of charge, and the remuneration of 500 GEL will be credited to the cards upon completion of the summer work.
The Ministry of Education and Science offers all program participants the photo contest "My First Summer Job". To participate in the contest, a student must be enrolled in the summer employment program, take a photo during the performance of their duties, and send it starting from July 20 to the email address: [email protected]. Participation in the photo contest is also possible via the Ministry's official Facebook page at www.facebook/mes.gov.ge. The author of the photo participating in the contest who accumulates the most "Likes" will travel to the United Kingdom on an educational tour.
