“Learn today - Get employed tomorrow”
At the initiative of the President of Georgia, the Ministry of Education and Science is launching a new project – professional retraining and vocational orientation trainings.
The new project enables any interested individual to take a two-month retraining course in English language, computer skills, and vocational orientation, and optionally choose one, two, or all three trainings combined. The training course will assist participants in their subsequent employment. 20,000 people will be retrained free of charge simultaneously across 80 training centers in 20 cities and regional centers of Georgia.
Registration of those wishing to participate in the project has started today. In connection with this topic, Minister of Education and Science of Georgia Khatia Dekanoidze held a briefing and presented the project's website www.po.ge.
Registration for those wishing to get involved in the project will be conducted from July 16 to September 10, 2012. Registration is possible both electronically on the website www.po.ge and at the institutions specified on the same website.
Registration requires only a Georgian citizen's identity document. All registered participants will receive a certificate confirming their participation in the project and a lecture schedule that is as convenient as possible for them.
The lecture courses will be conducted by professional trainers. Textbooks have been created specifically for these trainings. All necessary textbooks and study materials will be distributed to participants free of charge.
