Summary of Summer Job Results

The process of working on the Summer Employment Program concluded on August 20. The program was successfully implemented, and up to 23,000 students completed the work envisaged within it. Every participant of the program, both students and employers, are satisfied and express a strong desire for it to continue in the future. For their part, employers state that in the future they will allocate more job opportunities for students, which will allow us to increase the number of employed students.
Today, on August 27, salaries for students employed in the Summer Job program will be fully disbursed. According to Article 4, Paragraph 4 of the employment contract signed between the Ministry of Education and Science, the employing organization, and the student, the employer shall disburse the remuneration based on the work performance reports submitted by the program participant, no later than 5 (five) working days after the expiration of the term stipulated by the contract.
We deeply regret that the deadlines stipulated by the contract coincided with non-working days, specifically the weekend, and we understand the students' anxiety. We would like to remind you that all students who participated in the employment program will receive their remuneration on a Bank of Georgia plastic card, which was issued free of charge to all participants.
In the event that a student encounters any issues regarding the bank or the plastic card, please contact us at the hotline of the Ministry of Education and Science: 2 200 220.
The Ministry of Education and Science expresses its gratitude to all students and employing organizations participating in the program.
