The first memorandum of cooperation in Georgia was signed with the company "Bosch"

A memorandum of cooperation was signed between the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia and the company "Robert Bosch" with the aim of developing vocational education.

The memorandum of cooperation was signed by Ketevan Natriashvili, First Deputy Minister of Education and Science of Georgia, and Nino Fruidze, Commercial Director of "Robert Bosch" in the Caucasus region.

The memorandum aims to develop vocational education in Georgia in the engineering field. Licensed trainers of the company "Robert Bosch" will ensure the upgrading of the knowledge level of vocational education teachers in the use of new technologies, Bosch power tools, and accessories. The company will equip workshops with modern machinery, provide internships for students, participate in graduation exams, and, most importantly, successful graduates will receive an international Bosch certificate.

According to the memorandum, the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia will ensure the involvement of vocational education teachers in the trainings planned in the field of power tools. The Ministry will also facilitate the vocational education institutions in integrating the teaching methodology and relevant materials provided by Bosch into the educational program (curricula).

The company "Robert Bosch" successfully implements similar projects in various European countries. The agreement concluded between the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia and the company "Robert Bosch" is the first memorandum of cooperation signed in Georgia.

“The vast experience that the Bosch corporation possesses globally will also be successfully utilized in Georgia,” stated Nino Fruidze.
