The School of State Administration has resumed operations with updated programs

Minister of Education and Science of Georgia Tamar Sanikidze continues visiting educational institutions in Western Georgia. Today, the Minister got acquainted with the updated training programs at the Zurab Zhvania School of Public Administration and met with teachers and regional coordinators.
The School of Public Administration in Kutaisi will soon resume the state language teaching program for ethnic minority representatives employed in self-governments and local bodies of central structures. The aim of the program is for trainees to learn the basics of the state language, acquire the ability to write, read, and speak Georgian on topics necessary for daily life, and to compose simple text messages, letters, and documents for office work purposes. This will assist them in integrating into the unified state administration space.
The Ministry's Zurab Zhvania School of Public Administration has already resumed studies at its regional training centers located in the municipalities of Dmanisi, Akhalkalaki, Ninotsminda, Tsalka, Bolnisi, Marneuli, Gardabani, and the village of Lambalo in the Sagarejo municipality. Upon completion of their studies, successful graduates will be given the opportunity to undergo a full public governance training course at the Ministry's Zurab Zhvania School of Public Administration in the city of Kutaisi.
Throughout 2014, the Ministry's Zurab Zhvania School of Public Administration plans to retrain more than 2,000 representatives of ethnic minorities employed in state structures across Georgia.
