A new school is being built in the Guria region
Minister of Education and Science of Georgia Tamar Sanikidze met with the residents of the village of Tsipnari in the Chokhatauri Municipality and visited the site where a modern standard public school is being constructed. The construction of the new school was initiated by the Educational and Scientific Infrastructure Development Agency of the Ministry at the end of 2013.
The school in the village of Tsipnari is one of the nine schools whose construction is being carried out by the Ministry across Georgia. The construction of all these schools was decided based on urgent needs.
The existing school in the village of Tsipnari was in such a critical state of disrepair that the continuation of the educational process was deemed unacceptable. By the decision of the Ministry, the school was dismantled, and currently, the educational process is taking place in the kindergarten building. In a few months, the students of the village of Tsipnari will have the opportunity to receive a comprehensive education in a new, modern school.
Significantly improving school infrastructure and creating a modern learning environment remain key priorities of the educational reform. The Ministry is undertaking extensive work in this direction. In the future as well, the development of school infrastructure will be carried out systematically, based on needs and modern educational standards.
