Concluding event held within the framework of the anti-drug campaign
Within the framework of the anti-drug campaign "No to Drugs, Let's Change the Attitude Together!" initiated by the Ministry of Internal Affairs, drawing and essay contests were held for students. The students who won the school contests were awarded today by Tamar Sanikidze, Minister of Education and Science of Georgia, and invited guests.
In the drawing contest, students of grades VII-XII created drawings on anti-drug themes accompanied by appropriate slogans, and the best of them were exhibited at the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia. The authors of the winning drawings received diplomas, certificates, cash prizes, and bookstore vouchers.
Within the framework of the essay contest, students of grades VII-XII prepared short essays, which they presented to representatives of their schools. Based on the video recordings of the students' public speeches, a special commission identified the 20 best essays, whose authors performed before the guests and the jury at the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia with a one-minute address: No to Drugs, Let's Change the Attitude Together!
The jury, consisting of representatives from various ministries and relevant organizations involved in the campaign, evaluated the public speeches, identified the students who took the I, II, and III places, and presented them with awards and gifts.
