Cooperation with the non-governmental sector is moving into a new phase
The organizations included in the Georgian National Coalition of Civil Society Organizations are: International Institute for Education Policy, Planning and Management; Association School, Family, Society; Consultations and Training Center; Civil Education Teachers Forum; SIQA - Georgian Association of Educational Initiatives; and Movement Accessible Environment for All. The agreement is also signed by the Free Trade Union of Educators and Scientists of Georgia.
Within the framework of the memorandum equal cooperation on general education issues will take place between the state agency and non-governmental public organizations.
The purpose of the memorandum is to promote the sustainable development of general education, to achieve the goals of general education and "Education for All" - through policy development and implementation, conducting policy dialogue on the development of general education, developing a participatory approach, and broadly involving beneficiaries in the monitoring, evaluation, and planning processes of the general education sector at both macro and micro levels.
Similar cooperation will contribute to the transparency of ongoing processes in the education sector and the involvement of interested non-governmental organizations in them.
