The process of revising the National Curriculum continues

At this stage, the National Curriculum revision process covers the primary education level. The experts are working on both the administrative and subject-specific parts. In the first stage, the subject syllabi for grades I-IV will be developed, while in subsequent stages, the process will cover all grades of the basic and secondary levels.

Over the course of two weeks, the international experts shared their experience with Georgian colleagues and provided recommendations in the process of revising the National Curriculum. Within the framework of the visit, the Estonian experts met with representatives of various structural units of the Ministry. Working meetings were also held with directors and administrative representatives of public schools in Tbilisi and the regions of Georgia.

Cooperation will continue in the process of revising the subject standards for the basic and secondary levels, developing the framework for the implementation of the National Curriculum, and developing the electronic interactive portal of the National Curriculum.
