In 2013-2014, 108 persons completed an internship at the Ministry

Bachelor's students, master's students, and graduates of various higher education institutions completed their internships in the structural subdivisions of the Ministry of Education and Science of Georgia.

Considering that there is a shortage of human resources with competence, qualification, and relevant practical experience in many fields, the Ministry has been implementing the project for the second year. The project allows for the selection of top personnel and the demonstration of their capabilities, which subsequently facilitates the employment of young people.

The purpose of the internship was to create opportunities for acquiring professional experience for persons seeking employment in public institutions, to enable students and graduates of relevant profiles to develop practical skills, and to train qualified personnel for public institutions.

To date, 108 individuals have completed internships at the Ministry. 20% of the interns, who demonstrated professionalism and a dedicated attitude toward their assigned duties during the internship period, were employed as temporary acting personnel in various departments subordinate to the Ministry. Subsequently, these individuals will participate in open competitions announced for filling vacant positions.
