Cooperation begins with the High Energy Accelerator Research Organization KEK (Japan)
The meeting focused on issues related to the signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation between the International Center for Education (Georgia), initiated by the Prime Minister of Georgia, and the High Energy Accelerator Research Organization KEK (Japan).
Future cooperation will be related to higher educational and research programs in the field of high-energy physics and related technologies.
Upon entry into force of the document, the High Energy Accelerator Research Organization KEK, as a scientific research organization, will provide opportunities for Georgian students to study and participate in real experiments.
By engaging in KEK projects, under the supervision of Georgia and KEK personnel, the Georgian side will cover only the travel expenses of the students, while other expenses (accommodation, tuition, internship, research) will be funded by the Japanese side.
Prior to that, the details will be finalized, establishing the prerequisites for signing.
