Presentation of a new project at the "Mermisi" Public College

This year, a memorandum of cooperation was signed between the Public College "Mermisi" and "Caritas Georgia", within the framework of which the development and promotion of the "Carpenter" vocational program were planned, as well as the establishment of relations between the College "Mermisi" and colleges of the Italian Republic (with the same profile) for the purpose of sharing experiences among administration, teachers, and students. All of this will contribute to the development of the college and the enhancement of the qualifications of the college staff. After completing the theoretical course, the students of the vocational educational program will undergo industrial practice in the carpentry workshop of "Caritas Georgia", which is equipped with modern machinery and equipment.

The charitable foundation "Caritas Georgia" is a charitable organization that promotes the development of human resources, the protection of social justice, supporting those in need, and raising their sense of dignity and responsibility. Since its inception, "Caritas Georgia" has implemented numerous projects in Georgia. Their desire is also to contribute to vocational educational activities. The donor organizations of the charitable foundation "Caritas Georgia" are the "Italy-Georgia" Association and the Autonomous Province of Trento.
