Natia Zedginidze spoke about the priority reallocation of the budget

According to Natia Zedginidze, Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia, the Ministry welcomes the report prepared by the Public Defender and fully agrees with the issues presented therein:
“The Ministry constantly points out that the situation in schools regarding sanitary-hygienic and infrastructural conditions is severe. We have approached the problems systematically and, with a tripled budget, we will first assist those schools that need it the most. On the other hand, sanitary-hygienic standards and easily solvable problems—such as the availability of soap on-site, which may pose a threat to students' health—must become particularly important and prioritized by school management in order to ensure their timely resolution. It is also unacceptable for the conditions in restrooms intended for teachers and students to differ within schools. Resolving easily manageable problems is precisely the obligation of the school administration. We will continuously monitor this,” stated Natia Zedginidze.
