The Tbilisi International Festival of Theatre Begins

From September 23 to October 24, Tbilisi will host the 11th International Theatre Festival. The festival program and significant updates were discussed today at Orbeliani Square by the festival organizers and supporters.
The Tbilisi International Theatre Festival was founded in 2009 on the initiative of Tbilisi City Hall and with the support of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports, and it hosts various theatre troupes annually. Alongside the presentation of the best performances, discussions and debates with the participation of youth will also be organized.
At this year's festival, five performances will be presented within the framework of the British Season UK/Georgia 2019, and an art market will also be held. Additionally, alongside Tbilisi City Hall, the “Aerial Theatre – Muare Experience” will be organized as part of the "Tbilisoba" celebration. Furthermore, October 2-6 will be dedicated to the Georgian performances program.
