"Diverse Georgia" - in Ninotsminda

With the support of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of Georgia, the project "Diverse Georgia", initiated by LEPL Georgian Museum of Literature named after Giorgi Leonidze, is ongoing. One of the main goals of the project is to promote the integration of ethnic minorities living in Georgia into the country's cultural life.
Within the framework of the project, on October 23, various activities were held at the Ninotsminda Culture Center, including the celebration of the anniversary date (150th birth anniversary) of the renowned Armenian writer and public figure Hovhannes Tumanyan. The event was attended by Georgian and Armenian writers, scientists, and artists โ Givi Shahnazar, Maqvala Gonashvili, Zhora Snkhchian, and Baghater Arabuli.
Additionally, a presentation of Hovhannes Tumanyan's anniversary book-album was held, introducing previously unpublished texts of his work to the public through literary and musical performances, along with a photo exhibition depicting illustrations included in the anniversary edition.
As part of the concluding section of the project, a summary concert was held with the participation of the "Hayartun" Cultural, Educational and Youth Center of the Armenian Diocese of Georgia and guest musicians from the capital. Local schools and libraries were presented as gifts with books published with the support of the Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sports of Georgia.
