Mikheil Chkhenkeli congratulated the people of Estonia on Independence Day
On the occasion of Estonia's Independence Day, Mikheil Chkhenkeli, Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia, participated in a formal event organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Estonia, congratulated the Estonian people on this significant date, and addressed the attendees.
Mikheil Chkhenkeli: “It is a great honor for me to participate in the event dedicated to Estonia's Independence Day.
Since the ultimate collapse of the Soviet Union, Estonia has traversed a difficult path to secure its rightful place in the European family, and today it stands as an economically strong and full-fledged member state of the free world.
Estonia has consistently supported Georgia's territorial integrity and sovereignty. The support of our Estonian friends has helped us build a strong and independent country, and your assistance aids us in the process of Georgia's integration into the European Union and Euro-Atlantic structures. On behalf of the Georgian people, I would like to express my deepest gratitude for this.
Georgia and Estonia share long-standing friendly relations across various fields. As the Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Georgia, I would like to emphasize our long-term partnership in the field of education. I hope that our cooperation will continue intensively in the future, which will further deepen the friendship between our peoples.“
The event, organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Estonia in Georgia, was also attended by members of the Government and Parliament of Georgia, representatives of the diplomatic corps, international and local organizations, as well as teachers and students from various Georgian schools.
